Coming by car
From Paris, take the A6 south to exit 7 (Viry Chatillon, Fleury Mérogis). Turn right off the highway and go straight. Go through two roundabouts. Cross Fleury Merogis. After the small Leclerc supermarket, you will see before arriving on another roundabout a sign indicating Sainte Geneviève des Bois on the right and immediately after a tourist sign on the Russian cemetery. At the roundabout, take the first exit on the right in the direction of Sainte geneviève des Bois on the departmental 296. Pass another roundabout and at the first crossroads with a red light, take a left in the rue Léo Lagrange (turn in front of the heart of Essonne nautical basin). The church is a little further on the left.
Coming by public transport
Count a little over an hour from Paris. Take line C of the RER (about 31 minutes from Gare d'Austerlitz). There are three possible RER stops (choose according to connecting bus schedules as shown on google maps), namely:
- Sainte Geneviève des Bois station with a connection to bus 3 towards "Lucien Sampaix" (about 17 minutes to the Russian cemetery bus stop) or bus 1 to the "Piscine" stop (about 11 minutes, then walk in rue Leo Lagrange to the church).
- The Epinay sur Orge station, then 2 minutes on foot to Epinay sur Orge station to catch the bus 107 correspondence in the direction of "Croix Blanche" (approximately 16 minutes to the "Mare au Chanvre" stop, then 7 minutes on foot
- to the "Saint Michel sur Orge" station, then take the DM11A bus to the "Piscine" stop (about 11 minutes). Take rue Léo Lagrange to the church.
It is also possible to take bus 108 from Porte d'Orléans in the direction of "Croix Blanche" to the "Mare au Chanvre" stop (about 1h15 journey). The bus journey normally costs €1.90. You have to look at the timetables and the bus connections on google maps.
Finally, it is also possible from the RER stops to order an Uber to get to the church for about ten euros on week days.
